We are Christian believers meeting to honor the name of the Lord Jesus Christ in Westby, Wisconsin! Assembling together for sound Bible teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer (Acts 2:42); encouraging one another toward love and good works.
Do you wonder what it would be like to meet with believers who seek to practice New Testament principles of gathering? Everyone is welcome at our Family Bible Hour, and no public collections are taken. If you are interested in learning more about the Lord Jesus Christ, and God's great plan of salvation for mankind, we would encourage you to attend our Sunday morning Family Bible Hour at 10:45am.
One of the greatest blessings this side of heaven is to gather with other Christians who take God, and His Word seriously. We are a local assembly of believers saved by grace through faith in Christ and His finished work (Eph. 2:8-9.) We gather in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ alone, claiming His promise that “Where two or three are gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:20). In our meetings, you will see the Headship of Christ displayed, the priesthood of all believers practiced, and a plurality in gifting and leadership exercised.
It is our desire to actively apply Biblical principles for corporate assembly and practice, just as believers did in the New Testament days, before there were denominational barriers or distinctions. We are not under the authority or jurisdiction of any church system or hierarchy. Rather, we are a local body of believers with Christ as the head, with elders and deacons as under-shepherds, and with various other brothers and sisters fulfilling their roles as set forth in Scripture.
